Serve

For even the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve...

Mark 10:45

We're excited you're interested in serving at LPC!  Using your gifts and resources for God's Kingdom is life-giving. When we serve in the church, community and friendship come naturally.

Serving can come in many forms -- offering your time, skills, resources, prayers, etc. Sometimes it is a one-time event, and other times it's a long-term commitment.  We're eager to get to know you better and learn where and how you're interested in serving.

Serve at lpc

Use your unique gifts to help build the Kingdom.

God has equipped each of us with different gifts and skills.  Community thrives in amazing ways when everyone uses their gifts together to serve and expand God's Kingdom.  We're excited to have you in our community and to learn how you're excited to serve.

We serve our community by hosting Blood Drives.

You can make a difference. Give blood.

There is a need.  LPC’s desires to be a spiritual and physical blessing to the community around us. During these challenging days, one way we can do that is through our blood drive. We invite our community to participate with us to give much needed blood for use back in our community.

Food from the heart

Serving our Local Community:  The last Sunday of each month

Food From The Heart.  This ministry offers a meal, friendship and the good news.  In 1992, an elder in our church had the vision to reach out to the less fortunate in our area with a community dinner.  The dinner would not only provide a good meal, but also offer friendship and the good news of Jesus Christ.  Out of this vision arose our monthly Food From The Heart dinners.
Each month we share a homemade meal with guests from the community.  Members of our congregation prepare the meals, develop caring relationships with those who come, and present a short message from Scripture and from their own life experiences as Christians.  Local bakeries and food suppliers regularly assist in providing food for the meal and for our guests to take home with them.

Food From the Heart dinners are ordinarily on the last Sunday of each month at 1:00pm.
Check the church calendar or contact the church office to confirm the date of the next dinner.
